Who we are

We’re a husband-and-wife team who believe dogs aren’t pets they’re family.

Collette’s Re-Treat was born from our love for our first dog, Colette, who changed the way we saw the world. She taught us to slow down, spend more time outside, and build a life that includes our dogs in everything we do. Today, we share that life with six dogs of our own and they’re the reason this place exists.

We created Collette’s Re-Treat because we were tired of traveling to places that said “pet-friendly” but didn’t truly mean it. We wanted to build something different a space where dogs are welcomed, considered, and part of the experience from the start.

This isn’t a large hospitality company. It’s personal.
We designed it ourselves. We care for it ourselves. And we built it for people like us those who don’t want to leave their dogs behind when they rest, recharge, and reconnect.
