We use this website to introduce Amaya’s Cabin in Spring Branch, Texas, share local travel information, and help you reach our Airbnb listing. Collette’s Re-Treat LLC operates the cabin and this website.
Newsletter signup
If you choose to subscribe to Hill Country Notes, we collect the email address you provide and your signup and subscription status. We use that information to send the dog-friendly travel ideas, local discoveries, cabin news, and occasional offers described beside the form. Signing up is optional and is separate from booking a stay.
Newsletter submissions are stored in Squarespace Contacts. Squarespace and its service providers process information to operate the signup and email service. Google reCAPTCHA helps protect the form from automated abuse and may process device and interaction information. See Squarespace’s privacy policy and Google’s privacy policy.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link in each marketing email. You can also email poochie@collettesretreat.com to ask about your information, correct your address, withdraw consent, or request removal. We may retain a record of an unsubscribe preference so that it is respected. Booking a cabin does not automatically subscribe you to our newsletter.
Website analytics and cookies
Squarespace provides website hosting and native analytics. If you allow optional analytics cookies, we also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use this website, including page views, device and browser information, referring sources, and clicks on links such as our Airbnb listing. We do not send the email address you enter in our newsletter form to Google Analytics. Google processes analytics information under its privacy policy. You can accept or decline optional cookies using our cookie banner and change your choice later through Cookie Preferences. Squarespace’s native integration uses Google Consent Mode: when analytics cookies are declined, Google may still receive limited cookieless measurement signals, including consent status and basic visit information, without using analytics cookies. Some features may need essential storage to work. Declining optional analytics does not prevent you from viewing the cabin, using the newsletter form, or following an Airbnb booking link. Reservations and payments remain on Airbnb.
The local discovery guide
If enabled in a future stage, the Hill Country guide can save favorites in your browser’s local storage. Those favorites stay in that browser until you clear them. When connected, its public activity feed is hosted on Cloudflare. Opening an official venue, Google Maps, or ticketing link takes you to that provider, whose privacy practices apply. The guide does not collect your precise location or process cabin reservations.
Airbnb reservations
All reservations, guest pricing, availability, and payments are handled on Airbnb. This website does not collect payment-card information or deposits. Airbnb’s own privacy policy and booking terms apply when you visit its platform. We do not add Airbnb guest contacts to the newsletter merely because they booked.
